2011 Membership Workshop Dates:

If you have not been baptized by total immersion in water since you believed, you need to very prayerfully and sincerely consider this scriptural mandate.  In Matthew, Chapter 3, we read that Jesus, Himself, submitted to John the Baptist and was baptized in water.  We also read in Acts 2:38, “Repent and let every one of you be baptized…”  Further, Jesus said to His disciples in Mark 16:16, “He who believes and is baptized will be saved.”

As you can see, Jesus commanded water baptism and considers it to be very important.  Therefore, we at The Mission Church, believe it is essential for all who have accepted Christ as Savior, be baptized in water by total immersion.
